The National Football League (NFL) star reportedly spent Christmas Day with his children from past marriages rather than with Cardi B and his newborn kid, which sparked a criticism. The rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, responded on Monday by posting a video via X with the comment, "We need a reset."
“Y’all need to calm down,” she said while lying in bed. “Y’all been dragging me for three or four days, and y’all been a little too mean. I can’t change st. I can’t go back in time. I already had a baby. Y’all want me to put my baby back in my psy? You want me to leave my man and f**k yours? What y’all want me to do? We can only go forward now.”
Ahead of Christmas, Cardi had shared photos of herself trying to capture festive moments with all four of her children, including the baby she welcomed with Diggs in November. The couple is yet to publicly reveal the child’s name.
The music star is also a mother to Kulture, seven, Wave, four, and Blossom, 14 months, whom she shares with her estranged husband, Offset.
Cardi B further explained that she is currently focused on preparations for her upcoming tour, noting that it will require significant time away from her family.
“I’m gonna be away from my babies, away from my personal life, away from my home… I need my support system, my fans, to love me,” the 33-year-old said with a smile. “I want y’all to come to my tour and enjoy yourselves with me. Don’t be dragging me. That’s enough!”
Cardi B ended the video with a firm appeal for privacy, saying, “Leave me alone, though. Damn. Y’all scare me sometimes!”
Cardi B is set to begin her 35-date Little Miss Drama Tour on February 11 in support of her second studio album, Am I the Drama?.
Meanwhile, the rapper officially filed for divorce from Migos star Offset in July 2024, although the process has yet to be finalized.
