Crystal Palace Sign Brennan Johnson from Tottenham for £35m

Brennan Johnson has officially joined Crystal Palace from Tottenham for a club-high £35 million.

Johnson will wear the No. 11 shirt after agreeing to a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Eagles.

On Sunday afternoon at St. James' Park, the 24-year-old will be able to make his Palace debut against Newcastle United.

Johnson said he was excited to join the current FA Cup winners when he first joined the team.

"I am quite thrilled and very excited." He told the club's official website, "Crystal Palace is such a magnificent club, one that I have long respected."

"I am really happy to be here and join this club's journey; it is a terrific time for me."

Glasner, who has longed for reinforcements since the summer transfer market closed, views the signing as a declaration of intent.

"I m thrilled that Brennan has joined the group," he remarked. "The club deserves praise for making things happen so swiftly because he arrives quite early in the window."

"Brennan's speed and goal-scoring ability will provide us options in our attacking play, and he will be a great addition to the club with all the approaching games."

With eighteen goals, Johnson was Tottenham's top scorer in the previous campaign.
