Tottenham forward Randal Kolo Muani was involved in a road accident after one of his car tyres burst while he was driving on the motorway.

The 27-year-old French international was on his way to Stansted Airport on Tuesday ahead of his team’s UEFA Champions League fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt when the front tyre on the offside of his black Ferrari suddenly blew out, leading to the crash.

A fellow Tottenham teammate, Wilson Odobert, was reportedly travelling behind Kolo Muani on the M25 when the incident happened and immediately pulled over to assist him and ensure he was safe following the crash.

Photos taken at the scene show both players standing by the roadside as traffic passed, with visible damage to the front of the vehicle. The Ferrari’s front end was badly wrecked, and the driver’s airbag had deployed, indicating the force of the impact.

Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank later confirmed that both players escaped without injury.

“They’re both okay,” Frank said when asked about the incident. “They were involved in a minor accident, but thankfully everyone was fine. A tyre burst caused the issue, which led to a short delay in their travel. They were shaken a little, but there were no injuries, and they were able to continue their journey.”
