According to reports, a California socialite who attempted to hire a hitman to kill her husband killed herself.
Authorities told the news that Tatyana Remley committed suicide outside a San Diego bar on Thursday night, December 18.
After calling her estranged husband, Mark Remley, from the bar to complain about her new lover, Remely, 44, died from a "gunshot wound to the head."
Mark Remley told the news, "She FaceTimed me while in the restroom stall and said, 'I am with this guy and he is being a jerk."
Tatyana first met Mark, a tech entrepreneur, in a posh San Diego neighborhood about fifteen years ago. In 2023, the two broke up and were in the process of divorce.
Then, in August 2023, Tatyana was accused of carrying a concealed weapon in a car, possessing a pistol in public, and attempting to kill her former partner, Mark.
She served one year of her almost four-year prison sentence after entering a guilty plea to the charges.
But even when Tatyana was released from prison, their relationship persisted.
She and Mark reconnected and rekindled their romance, but Mark secretly recorded Tatyana allegedly admitting to setting fire to their Del Mar mansion years earlier, according to report.
Mark snitchef on his wife, and Tatyana was arrested on arson charges and had been awaiting trial in March before she took her own life.
According to a source close to the marriage, Tatyana insisted she was innocent of both the arson allegations and the unexplained death of her friend Sharal, who was with her on the day the house fire started.
She said that Mark attempted to falsely accuse her of being involved in Sharal's alleged murder.
Despite all, the couple's relationship persisted intermittently until the day of her death, despite rumors that they had completely reunited, according to the source.
According to report, the couple used Mark's $30 million real estate fortune to support an extravagant, public lifestyle for themselves and Tatyana's two children from a prior marriage during the course of their 15-year relationship.
According to the publication, they lived in mansions in California and Hawaii and launched a number of businesses, including an unsuccessful horse dance performance at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in 2012.
They even starred in the Showtime documentary series Naked SNCTM, which explored the inner workings of an exclusive sex club, and were said to have a propensity for wild, debaucherous sex.
