According to Newburgh Heights Police, an alert regarding a stolen car was received on December 20.
After seeing the video, the police tried to pull over the car, but it quickly drove away.
The children, who were 12, 11, and 8 years old, fled after the car crashed into a yard but were eventually apprehended.
The 11-year-old driver of the car, according to the police, acknowledged that watching YouTube tutorials taught him how to steal a car.
While criminal charges were being brought in criminal court, the children were returned to their parents.
