Franky Venegas of Island Boys Arrested on Drug Charges
According to TMZ, Franky Venegas, one half of the well-known rap duo Island Boys, has been detained once more in Florida on suspicion of drug-related offenses. Venegas was arrested on Wednesday night on one count of possessing drug paraphernalia at the Collier County Jail in Naples, according to law enforcement officials. After the arrest, he posed for a new mugshot.

Venegas is being held on a 24-hour hold, according to the authorities, because he was previously released on bond following another arrest in February. Charges of shipping, owning, or selling a firearm with a modified serial number were included in that previous instance.
In the February incident, a yellow Corvette was pulled over by deputies for allegedly running a stop sign. Officers discovered a baggie of probable oxycodone on the passenger side floorboard, according to the sheriff's report. At the time, Venegas denied ownership and claimed to have a prescription, but he was unable to produce any documentation.

Additionally, police reported discovering a brown MGM purse that contained credit cards with Venegas' name on them, a chopped straw, and a blue spray-painted revolver without a serial number. In the center console of the car, another straw with a white, powdery material was purportedly found.
Venegas and his twin brother Alex became well-known in 2021 after their song "I am an Island Boy" went popular on social media.

He has been arrested several times in the past for driving without a valid license, reckless driving, and domestic abuse.
