The Super Eagles of Nigeria have secured a place in the semi-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations taking place in Morocco.
The Nigerian team booked their spot after recording a 2–0 victory over Algeria in the quarter-final match played at the Grand Stade de Marrakech on Saturday, January 10.
Two goals scored in the second half by Victor Osimhen of Galatasaray and Akor Adams of Sevilla sealed Nigeria’s qualification for the semi-finals.
The Super Eagles will now take on host nation Morocco in one of the semi-final clashes, as they aim to secure a place in the final of the tournament.
