Nigerian singer Portable, has stirred fresh drama after publicly declaring that only one woman holds the title of his wife, insisting that all other women he has children with are merely baby mamas.
The declaration was made in a video shared by the singer a day after the New Year. In the clip, Portable was seen in a heated exchange with some women, one of whom appeared to be angrily tugging at his shirt as tensions flared.
Amid the confrontation, the Zazoo Zeh crooner made it clear that his relationship status had shifted with the new year. He stated that going forward, he recognises only Bewaji as his lawful wife, distancing himself from any marital claims by other women he had previously been involved with.
According to Portable, 2026 represents a turning point in his personal life, with Bewaji standing as his only wife, while the others are merely mothers of his children.
“2026 is one wife and baby mamas. Bewaji is my only wife; the rest of you are baby mamas,” he said.
