Bonnie Blue, a British adult content creator , has been punished and banned from Bali for a decade after being arrested for misusing a car linked to contentious online activity.
A court in Denpasar ordered the 26-year-old, whose actual name is Tia Billinger, to pay a fine of 200,000 Indonesian rupiah, or approximately nine pounds, after being convicted of violating traffic regulations. Authorities said the blue pick-up truck she bought and christened the Bangbus was permitted to transport commodities but was instead used to transport passengers.
Billinger was nabbed while driving around the Indonesian tourist island in the vehicle, which prosecutors claimed was being used in ways that breached local rules. One of the British men involved was also cited for driving without a valid international driver's license.
Following her arrival in Bali, Billinger commented on social media: "Hey boys, those who are coming to
Schoolies and those who are barely legal, I cannot wait to meet you, and I am in Bali, so you know what that means."
Schoolies is an
Australian tradition in which high school graduates, often aged 18, travel to celebrate the completion of their final exams, frequently with excessive drinking.
Billinger appeared in court with two British males and an Australian. She appeared at the
Denpasar District Court in a white BMW SUV and sat on a wooden bench beside the three guys during the proceedings. The court concluded that failing to pay the fine may have resulted in a jail sentence.Although the fine was particularly for driving crimes, Billinger had previously been investigated for alleged porongraphy and immigration issues. Police said they entered a home on the island and saw her filming a game with 17 male tourists.
A police representative told local media Kumparan News that when they were raided, they were creating collaborative content about a game in which the winner would sleep with Bonnie Blue.
"No pornographic behaviors or acts have been detected in the collaborative content."
Initially, reports indicated that the group would be permitted to leave the country, but Billinger and three others were kept for an extended amount of time. Her spokeswoman later verified that she had been released and was cooperating with the police.
At a news conference in Badung, police revealed that in addition to the punishment, Billinger and her colleagues would be barred from visiting Indonesia for at least ten years for violating visa terms.
Badung Police Chief Arif Batubara stated, "BB (Bonnie Blue) should have been traveling while in Bali, but she was instead making content."
Immigration chief Heru Winarko added, "They will be barred from entering Indonesia for at least ten years (which might be extended)."
Indonesia has stringent regulations prohibiting the creation, distribution, and public exhibition of pornographic content, with heavier penalties for minors involved.
