Rivers state governor, Sim Fubara, says he is now the leader of the APC in his state.

While speaking at the flagoff of a project in the state earlier today, Governor Fubara says he has formally registered with the APC and that his card number reads ‘’001'' implying he is now the leader of the party in the state.
‘’I am not just a member of APC, I am the number 1. I have collected my card and the form is 0001. From this moment, it is not an issue of ‘’e be like say''. I am there with all my chest and heart and what is the message? the message is clear. We are going to do everything to make sure that 2027 election for Mr President will be a smooth drive in Rivers state''
