In Edo State, a suspected cultist accuses alcohol and hard drugs of killing his sister's child

Osemudiamen, a suspected cultist, has admitted to killing his sister's infant in Edo State while under the influence of strong drugs and alcohol.

While being questioned by security personnel on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, the suspect admitted to the crime.

Osemudiamen acknowledged that he was drunk when the attack occurred in the video, which was uploaded on X by the anti-cultism campaigning platform Naija Confra.

"I killed my sister's child, which is why I am here. Drinks and colos gave me a high. I received the colos from Fredrick. He said, "I noticed him smoking when we met on the way."

The suspect further revealed that, prior to the incident, he had been considering renunciating his membership in the Aye fraternity.

He went on to say that even though he had asked a lawyer for help, he was unable to pay the legal fees.

"I was going to deaxe myself as a member of the Aiye fraternity. He added, "I even have a lawyer that wants to help me, but I did not have the money."
