School principal’s wife and ‘hitmen’ arrested in connection with his murder
Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the killing of a 59 year old school principal in Flagstaff, South Africa, with police confirming that the arrests followed a coordinated operation carried out in the early hours of Tuesday, December 9. A 35 year old man believed to be the hitman was apprehended at about 2am at Luqoqweni locality in Lusikisiki, where officers also recovered an unlicensed 9mm pistol with an erased serial number and 14 live rounds of ammunition.
Following the arrest, the police team proceeded to Flagstaff, where they took into custody a 40 year old man alleged to be the middleman in the crime, as well as the 52 year old wife of the deceased.
