A woman has dropped her 2023 sexual assault lawsuit against Conor McGregor
According to a Tuesday court filing, the lawsuit was “voluntarily dismissed with predjuice,” meaning the lawsuit cannot be filed again at a later date. The assault initially alleged that McGregor assaulted the woman in a bathroom at a 2023 NBA Finals game between the Miami Heat and the Denver Nuggets.
No criminal charges were ever charged against McGregor.
A jury did find McGregor guilty in another November 2024 civil sexual assault trial involving Nikita Hand that occurred in 2018. He was ordered to pay £206,000 ($271,742.84) to Hand with appeals denied.
McGregor is currently suing Sky News for defamation of character. He is also serving an 18-month suspension by the CSAD for failure to be available for drug testing. Word is that he is also in training for a potential comeback at the UFC White House event in 2026.
The last fight of McGregor was back in July 2021 when he lost to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.
